Shelf Fungus and Emerald Ash Borer
Original work of EcoArt created with 100% post-consumer recycled materials gathered from roadsides, parks, and recreation sites in Vermont. This piece is part of a series called Climate Change, which uses the recycled roadside packaging to depict visually the effects of human activity on our environment. This piece was inspired by the fungus formations often seen on dead trees while walking in the woods, which often are on dead and dying ash trees being impacted by the invasive emerald ash borer beetle.
